Welcome on the homepage of the ReuCon, the Reutlingen Games-Convention.

ReuCon´s Lotteries

Let us introduce our special prizes to you which you can win at this year´s ReuCon´s anniversary lottery. There will be two different lotteries as follows:

The lotteries will take place on Sunday at 4 pm, two hours prior to the finish of the ReuCon XV.

At this point we would like to say thank you to all the authors, publishers and shops, who supported us with so many, great prizes.

Author´s Prizes

"I am very fortunate to announce that a little dream of mine has come true. Some of the most talented - in my very own opinion - authors were so kind to provide the ReuCon with signed copies of their books and novels. All of them or better said the stories they told are profoundly guilty in short and sleepless nights and very hard days afterwards. In modern words I would say they are "state of the art" but I don't think that phrase caught it correctly. All of them are storytellers of their own kind. Their books are enthralling, amazing, sanguine, spirited in short great stuff that filled my time with much fun and amazement.
Thank you everyone for your sponsorship and keep up your great art of storytelling."

Nic of the ReuCon Orgateam

We don't need to introduce Dan Abnett to most gamers. He should be known as author of The Black Library, as well as an author of graphic novels and audio dramas. Dan provided the ReuCon with copies of his excellent books "Horus Rising" and "Prospero Burns".

Jim Butcher does not need an introduction. His Harry-Dresden-Files have become a legend not only among fantasy-roleplayers, but also among readers, who usually prefer other genres to fantasy. And his "Codex Alera"-books seem to become legendary on their own. In Germany his "Harry Dresden"-books will be published in the future by Feder & Schwert.
At this point we would like to express our gratitude also to his agent, who has made contact between Jim und the ReuCon-team and therefore is partly responsible for the signed books, we are able to present at the lottery. Thank you very much!

James Lovegrove was so kind to provide us with a signed copy of his novel "The Age of Odin" for our lottery which was published by Solaris Books. With "The Age of Odin" he seamlessly connects to the narrative density and quality of the novels "The Age of Zeus" and "The Age of Ra".

Robert Low is a Scotsman, journalist, Viking reenactor and author of the "Oathsworn" and the "Kingdom" series. He understands it to bring history back to life before the readers' inner eyes. His novels "The Wolf Sea" and "The Lion Wakes" are at our disposal for our tombolas hand signed and in hardcover copies. His novels are published by HarperCollins and the first part of his "Oathsworn"-series, "The Whale Road", will be published by Heyne this year.

Joe McKinney is an American author, who tells a profoundly enthralling story about an apocalypse in our current time with his 4 part "Dead World" serial. Joe provides us with hand signed copies of his novels "Dead City", "Apocalypse of the Dead" and "Flesh Eaters". His novels are published by Pinnade Fiction / Kensington Publishing Corp.

David Moody is the author of the Autumn-Series (Herbst-Series published in German by the Otherworld-Verlag) and the HATER-trilogy. David has provided us with his complete hand signed Autumn-Series for our lottery. David Moody - Hater-Trilogie

Tobias Radloff, who rose attraction with his novel 'Satinvans Auge' ('Satinvas Eye'. Fantasy Productions), will provide us with one of his novels for our lottery.
He visits this year´s ReuCon and will give a reading on Saturday to introduce us into the world of his latest novel, 'Schwarzspeicher' ('Black Storage'), published this autumn with Spreeside Verlag.

Brian Ruckley is our second Scotsman (besides Robert Low) who provided us with a copy of his book "Winterbirth" which is an excellent and enthralling fantasy novel. "Winterbirth" is the opener to the "The Godless World" series. His series is published by Orbit. "Winterbirth" is also published by Piper in Germany.

Andreas Schnell is probably known among many roleplayers in Germany for his role playing game "Heredium". His novel "Die Minotauren" (The Minotaurs) is published by Schüppler Verlag, while his Heredium-novels are published by 13Mann Verlag. Andreas will introduce us to the Heredium-world by a Reading from his books, one of the many highlights of this year´s ReuCon. As well as the Reading he will provide our lottery with two signed novels.

You will find more about Mantikore at their Homepage and about their publications on facebook (Paranoia, Lone Wolf, "Invasion der Normannen"). Thank you Nicolai for supporting us with these books!

Pelgrane Press did provide us with 3 vouchers (2 x 20 pounds, 1 x 10 pounds value) for their online-shop. Thank you very much Simon.

Player´s Paradise is a shop in Reutlingen, specialized in Trading Card Games (TCG). They support the ReuCon XV with numerous starter-decks as well as deck boxes from the WoW-TCG (World of Warcraft-TCG). This is the reason, why they are our WoW-No. 1-supporter. Thanks a lot.

Pro Fantasy joined the round dance with a 50 Pound voucher for their e-shop. Thank you very much folks.

Prometheus Games is the German publisher of role playing games like "Savage Worlds" or "Rats", which should be well known among role players. They provide us this year with two rule books from their programme.

The "Wild Guys" from Uhrwerk Verlag give support at the ReuCon at demonstration rpg-rounds as well as with some of their books.

Ulisses Spiele provides our lottery with a variety of books from their programme. Thanks a lot.

White Wolf sent the ReuCon a huge package for our lotteries. Merry & Eddy thank you very much Merry & Eddy (foremost for helping us to solve the customs duty problem!!!)

The "For Dummies"-Books by the publishers from Wiley VCH are for sure well known and in most bookstores some kind of landmark thanks to their unique design. Less well known should be, that there are "for Dummies"-books even for role playing games. The Publishers of Wiley VCH support us with a large number of their books. Thanks a lot.
